We have found a diamond! Meet Marcus King

He is only twenty years old, and has already released two albums that jumped into the top ten list of Billboard blues albums. His works are often compared to the legendary The Allman Brothers Band. Marcus’s  skills have already had the chance to impress Warren Haynes. You can listen to the unforgettable sounds of Marcus King’s guitar and vocals live at the Katowice "Spodek" Hall as part of 37th Rawa Blues Festival.

The start of the 37th Rawa Blues Festival Sonny Landreth releases his new album

Sonny Landreth is a guitar slayer & and a true master of slide technique. June 30th is the date of the release of his new album - a double live album documenting his performances at Lafayette, where Landreth spent a big chunk of his lifetime. "Recorded Live in Lafayette" is a great showcase for an artist who has worked with artists such as Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler….

The British Blues is back!

After a ten-year break the Rawa Blues Festival is again home to an artist from the British Isles. Kris Barras – an extraordinary figure who combines blues with mixed martial arts. His last year’s album called "Lucky 13" got immensely popular among the British fans. The album scored second place on the Amazon Blues Charts list and the third place on the iTunes chart.

Irek Dudek's Big Band at the NOSPR Hall!

At the Rawa Blues Festival we cannot miss out on a show delivered by its creator and director Irek Dudek. This year, he will present himself in one of his favorite incarnations: to be at the forefront of an 11-member Big Band. The band will be playing the songs from the "No. 1" album, which was the first English-language blues album recorded by a Polish artist. The musicians will perform on September 29 in the concert hall of Katowice's NOSPR.
